BARELY SQUARE 

The Overview

My name is Nick Branch, I am an aspiring independent furniture maker and woodworker based in Northeast Ohio. Before my Professional pursuit of woodworking, I elected to take woodshop all four years of high school and built many utilitarian pieces that are found around my house. During the winter of 2022-2023,  I attended a three-month furniture intensive course in Rockport, Maine at the Center For Furniture Craftsmanship. I honed and developed my skills specifically in design and the use of hand tools. 

My aim for Barely Square is to design and create great-looking furniture and practical items that are not only built to last but also unique and elegant. As a young craftsman, I am looking for opportunities to expand my creative range and push the limits of my skills.
